foamyesque
For various reasons I figure I'd create a set of enchanted items scattered around Solstheim that would produce the effects of fortifying Morrowind attributes, as nearly as possible. For the most part I've made that occur, but I've hit one particular problem and it's unfortunately very noticeable: Agility. See, in Morrowind, Agility boosted your Acrobatics skill, which increased your jump height. In Skyrim, this seems to be achieved via tweaking the fJumpHeightMin game setting (which has some save-reload persistence issues, though I think I've solved all cases bar one). The trouble is this: Once the jump height starts increasing to actually useful levels, i.e. past around 300, stopping forward motion just before your jump peaks results in the character standing in mid air, albeit slowly sinking. You can attack, walk, etc per normal (but not jump), though doing so more than briefly results in the jump transitioning into a fall, as does simply waiting for a few seconds. Unfortunately it's really damn distracting. Does anyone know of any way to stop it? There's a variety of jump mods out there but AFAICT they mostly just don't let you jump that high in the first place.
Di0nysys
It seems to be an engine level issue. Perhaps u need to limit the max value of jump to avoid this issue. I know for a fact above a certain height all processing is disabled, scripts stop to work and havok is broken. I once made an entire worldspace at 10000+ height and the result was an entirely broken world where nothing worked. Literally everything was broken. All land below the threshold was cutoff, havok went nuts and all scripts ceased to function. Better to design around it imo.
foamyesque
That defeats the point, which to be able to -- with a peak enchanting score -- go scooting across the length of Whiterun in a jump or two. :( I believe you're incorrect about the height causing stuff to outright stop working. The top of the Throat of the World is north of 20,000, after all.

So in reality, High Hrothgar stands at 7000 units.

The origin point, ie the lowest land height of tamriel is -27000. What are you even trying to say here? An origin point is zero, by definition. The default land height is -27000, but that just means Throat of the World has a delta of almost seventy thousand from that. The absolute Z reference is still 39000. Heck, this is readily noticeable ingame, where you need to console your jump height up into the eighty thousands or so to be able to leap Throat. Whatever your issue with your worldspace was, it's irrelevant to my problem, which in any case crops up at a single story's worth of height or less.
