Thanks guys for your supports & ideas :) These help me a lot when I feel frustrated about non-working features. Please spend time to suggest any features you guys want here or on the bethesda forum and I will try my best to include them in the mod

Be sure that you're mod will be featured in every Skyrim mod video! I assure you that, hehe.

So I was trying to come up with some simple ideas, and I was thinking about the problem everyone seems to have with this mounted combat mod. Everyone is saying things like, "it needs to be balanced", "you need to add some limitations", "your character will be too powerful" and things like that.

Well; I believe you might already have though about it but... what if you were to add a new perk branch on every weapon perk tree? Specifically for mounted combat, or perhaps a separate perk tree for mounted combat having different weapons' branches.

You could use features that will make you stagger less if you get hit by an arrow, sword, axe, mace, hammer, etc. The improvements would be gradual; just like in the shield perk tree. "You stagger 20% less, you stagger 35% less, etc.". But the concept of "balance" and/or "equilibrium" would be used here instead of "shielding".

In the archery perk branch/tree, you could also add a feature that lets you have steadier aim when shooting arrows while mounted; once again, this should be gradual; "Your hand is 15% steadier when mounted, 25% steadier, 50% steadier, 70% steadier, etc.".

In the melee type of weapons you could add a power attack that lets you sweep/hit all the enemies in front of you (the closest ones) like in the Two Handed perk tree.

I don't know if anyone else is digging this, but I'm excited to try it out.

I subscribe, but I'm not so sure about not having lances, if you mean all kinds of spears.

Spears have always been a part of combat. Specially, in mounted combat.

I believe, Nord and Celt riders were armed with spears more often than not. You may not like it, but the fact is, from hunting to war, spears and javelins were far more used than any other weapon.
