Unable to download mods

Recently I've begun receiving error messages when attempting to download any mods. I've tried clearing my cashe and cookies. I'm using Firefox 54.0.1 on Windows 10 Home. Here's a screenshot of the error. I happens no matter how I attempt to download the mods.

Same thing is happening to me. I can't download any mods. It happens with Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

I did figure out that I can download some mods by using the download manually feature under files and then opening the download link in a new tab to bypass the script that usually opens Nexus' pop-up utility. I've also been able to download on mod using NNM since posting the OP. I don't think all mod pages are affected by this glitch. However I would put money on it being a Java script problem.

That works for me. On the ones that ask for a donation, I add &skipdonate to the end of the URL.

Do you by chance happen to access the file sites via HTTPS when this error occurs?

If so, did you try switching to HTTP already and try again?

 

The file sites as of right now still don't work on HTTPS. Errors like the one you're reporting ring a bell in this context.

Yes, it does seem to be an HTTPS problem. I experimented by switching to HTTP and the downloads work. I also looked at my shared bookmarks. These are the ones I use with multiple browsers and all the latest ones are HTTPS. So that explains the cross browser occurrences.
