LE leonidas (300) hat

hi

i'm working on a leonidas class with the full gear from the movie 300.

there are already some good leonidas armor, including the shield and cape (the sword, gloves and boots are not that important, since the vanilla ones are already very similar to the ones used in the movie)

 

ive seen some leonidas (spartan) helmets that look similar to the ones used in the movie, but not close enough.

 

can someone please make a leonidas helmet to either replace the imperial helmet or just a seperate helmet on its own.

and the hair mounted at the top of the helmet would look nice if it extended far back:

and from what i remember the hair wasnt red or black, but rather a brownish red color. and the helmet itself (the metal part) was steel/iron, not gold or bronze like in one of the pictures above.

 

i know there are some mods already out that look similar to the spartan helmet, but to be honest, theyre not that nice.

 

and also: if you could maybe make a basic spear that had the same animations as a two handed sword or axe, that would really complete the set

I would need a template for your prefered coloring of the helmet though, high resolution one if possible.

that looks really nice

i dont know how to get you a template, but for the color of the helmet, it should just be a vanilla steel helmet color and the hair can be black (doesnt really matter)

as for the spear, these colors would be fine:

the wooden part of the spear would be that color i guess and the tip is a generic steel color

 

im not really sure what you mean by getting a template (im new to this) but your design looks really nice

there is already a skyrim mod for the spartan cape and shield,

but i did a bit of searching and i found some older mods from oblivion, maybe there is a way to port these into skyrim:

Well you need the permission of the author to import and use them...

 

I added a simple texture, some people spend hours on textures but i've only got a few minutes so i hope you understand that it won't be perfect but it works...as well i won't spend that much time for a single stranger haha :biggrin:

 

I will overhaul the hair part a bit...but i guess it will take one or two more days since i have to stop now, working week starts - so i will update when i make progress.

WOW THAT LOOK GREAT!!!

how can i download it???

and for the spear can you please make it a 1 handed axe maybe (if possible), because in the movie, leonidas holds a spear and a shield.

Download...when the spear is done as well, may be that i have to change one or two things in the file. I'm pretty new to armor modding so i have to check out the one or other thing before i finalize it. As mentioned, 1-2 days - no worries :tongue: Edited February 27, 2012 by ghosu

Are you using some kind of (long) hair? Cause i haven't found out yet how to modify the helmet so it shows parts of the hair...and when i display the whole haircut you get clipping errors, so if you use a longer haircut i could modify the helmet so it hides your hair and replaces it with a modified version that is aligned along the helmet.
