Odd, I have gamed and modded for 30 years mate, and installed the patch exactly as *you* instructed. Oh, I see you have a habit of calling people "stupid" when it comes to pointing out that your "patch" might cause an issue. I find it odd, that your patch was the last thing I installed on my PC for FalloutNV and that it was the file that broke my install. Seeing as I had already rebooted multiple times with the Nevada Skies Save Your Ears mod and it hadn't cause Steam to suddenly no longer recognize my install, or break FOMM. So take your high and mighty "hard work" (That you most likely heavily borrowed from the hundreds of 4gb patches that exist for 32bit games) and shove it up your self righteous ass. Then you can bend yourself over and f*** yourself mate! Because I have also installed many a 4gb patch, and *this* 4gb patch, is the only one to cause such a problem. But atleast all this is shown what kind of a**hole you are. And it will be on display for anyone who is thinking about downloading your "patch". Which was my mission, to warn people that this may happen to them, and if they don't want to risk it, avoid it. I am copying this conversation, so if you try and delete it, I will simply repost it. I understand I was not as tactful as I could have been, and for that I am at fault. I was very upset and I think that is completely understandable. But your accusation that I "don't know what I am doing" is as much bulls*** as telling someone the grass is blue, and the sky is green. A simple "This has never happened before. Sorry for the trouble but I don't think it was my file" would have sufficed. So in short, f*** you too buddy. f*** your work, and f*** your 4gb patch. Oh, and have a wonderful day! It has not, as I have seen many post describing just what I mentioned about with FOMM failing to open after the 4gb patch is installed. Seems to be tied to a incorrect version of FOMM. Seems Nexus and Google(Possibly just Google) bring up the 2010 version of FOMM first rather than the 2015 one. The 2010 one even says it was updated in 2017. *******************************************So yes, it *was* this file that broke my install.******************************************* *******************************************And yes it was also from my own mistake.******************************************* An honest one that apparently a number of people have made. So take your bulls***, and go somewhere else with it. Turns out I was both right, and wrong. And if I was nearly as stupid as you, and your butt buddy suggest that I am, I would have never solved it on my own as I have done, and have done for as long as I have gamed and modded. In short, f*** you too! People like this mod creator, and you, are exactly why I troubleshoot s*** by myself, and never rely on the internet and it's "communites" any longer to help with modding issues. You all have bones to pick, and any critisisms of a mod are greated with "you are too stupid to work it" solutions, rather than actual solutions. Shame, back in the day, the online community was very helpful. Thankfully I learned all I could from some great people in those days, as it seems all those great people have retired from gaming, and left us with a bunch of f***ing children in the community. Children who would rather insult someone who is already upset, rather than lend assistance. Thank God I am old enough and informed enough to do this on my own. I wouldn't trust you f*#@ers to take care of a "no legged" dog. Worthless self important f*#@s that you are.
