I know this question is probably stupid, but it needs to be asked.

Could Merrill, from Dragon Age II, ever be ported to Skyrim? I know the Witcher pretty much allows people to rip its resources for use in mods, but Bioware and the Dragon Age series I have no idea about.

It'd be awesome if somehow, someone figured out a legal way to get at least a replica of Merrill into Skyrim, considering she's the best character in any game, ever.

agree it would be awesome, Dragon Age 2's Merrill RPG character was very enjoyable to have in my party and a kinda cute foxy female dalish tattoo'd elven type too, vanilla Skyrim elves are fugly..

without getting a voice actor to actually replicate the goofy lines/comebacks/interaction into a Skyrim NPC; well, other than appearance Merrill would be a bit lifeless i'd say.

Not to sound critical; but, Bioware's humorous dialogue style is sorely missing in Skyrim, Merrill+Varric were Mary Kirby's creations, hope she does a lot more in DA3.

I think Kirby was also one of the writers for last year's Star Wars the Old Republic game.

One Merrill quote after battle: "Could we perhaps do battle with a pack of pretty flowers and soft bunnies next time? I'd do much better."

Forget Merrill. How about the whole Dragon Age wild elf origin? Now, that would be awesome.

No wait a minute. Actually, what would be really awesome would be playing Skyrim with the Dragon Age engine. THAT would be awesome.

The makers of the Witcher gave permission to do so, which shows how great they are. (not that the free advertising in a competitor's game hurts them any, right? That's not a complaint by the way. It's a smart idea.)

Bioware might have been willing back in the good old days, but since they're now owned by EA (one of the worst greedy [expletive deleted] game publishers out there)... well, lets just say "Peace on Earth" has a better chance of happening.
