cossayos Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 So I accidentally disabled Homemaker in NMM, reenabled it right afterwards, but now I've got no homemaker menus or items to be placed. All the objects I placed before I accidentally disabled it are still there, but I'm stuck with the vanilla menus. Anyone knows what's going on?
kitcat81 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Try to load a save that was made before you disabled the mod.
cossayos Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 Try to load a save that was made before you disabled the mod. That's what I did and that's why I know it's still active, since the HM objects I placed are still present. I can't construct anything new however, since the HM options are gone from the menus.
kitcat81 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) But have you tried to use the Homemaker holotape to restore the menu? What version of Homemaker do you use? Edited July 28, 2017 by kitcat81
cossayos Posted July 28, 2017 Author Posted July 28, 2017 But have you tried to use the Homemaker holotape to restore the menu? What version of Homemaker do you use? After it messed up I uninstalled the old version and installed the newest version from nexus. And yes, I did run the holtape. As I said, menus are gone, stuff I placed earlier is still there.
Sharlikran Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 If the menus are gone, then use the Holotape to restore the menu. Make sure you are using 1.55.1 because 1.54 had a minor issue with the Holotape and didn't remember when the menus were installed or which menu was active. I have not found the mod but when you have the single menu option, that adds Homemaker to the main settlement menu. There is a mod out there (I don't know which or the author) that seems to be restructuring or caching the settlement menu. When that happens mods like Homemaker, Functional Displays, SKE, and Northland Diggers seem to disappear from the main settlement menu even after you have added the menu. Since that's caused by another mod I really can't address that.
