aaronlt
Okay, aside of the original soup image (that I've now swapped, thanks to a couple of awesome modders), Skyrim has a couple of things that, to me, equate mystery meat. Lighthearted, but curious topic. I've been thinking, but cannot figure this out. What is a boiled creme treat? It's orange, with some greenish-yellowish odd custard-ish thing. What on earth is it? Is there something it's supposed to be like in reality? The honey nut treat is slightly less of a mystery to me. It's nuts and honey. But on a stick, tied with twine? What kind of nuts are used? How was it prepared? Why does it look lumpy and awkward?
GomuGomu64
I assume that the boiled treat is made from Moon sugar, and that the honey nut treets are, as you stated, mystery meat. They could be meat dumplings on a stick for all we know. ...Eugh. Meat dumplings and honey. I assume we also eat the stick, as we have no "leftovers" from it. natelovesyou
Haha, I like this topic. A boiled creme treat doesn't sound very good, first off. But it's basically like a doughnut with cream or custard in the middle. I don't know where in Oblivion it comes from. The honey nut treat, however, is more of an enigma because there aren't "nuts" in the game... at least not the kind that you eat. Maybe it's imported... by those damn Khajiit. Maybe it's imported... by those damn Khajiit. There are trees so there must be nuts. I'm no expert but I think any type of nut can be eaten. Some would obviously taste better than others. I think its definitely 3 Nuts (probably roasted) covered in honey on a stick. Wasted splinters from chopping firewood would make excellent skewers As for the Boiled Cream Treat. I'd guess its just a pastry outer or even bread and the yellow center is made from egg yolk. They really need to buff these foods. I have no intention of eating 40 of these to get my health back!
