zerefnosekai Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 so no matter what i do my pc refuses outside of manual searching to acknowledge that skyrim special edition is installed in its default folderi installed the newest version off nmm too no avail i manually select both skyrim fallout 4 and skyrim se get the ok prompt and only skyrim and fallout 4 are thereim tearing my hair out of my head from frustration how do i solve this? Skagens Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Do you have a legitimate copy of Special Edition? I.e, did you download it from Steam? If so, the directory should look something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition. NMM should detect the game if you've installed it correctly. BlueGunk Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I'd avoid using C:\Program Files altogether. Permissions on these folders can be a right pain. Try installing away from Program Files in your own Games folder and make sure the folder permissions are set so you can access everything in it.
