LVMickey
Hello there I have been using Nexus mods and NMM for a few years now, over a few different games. When I first had mods for FO4 everything was peachy. Then, if i remember correctly since this was quite a while ago, I got an error when trying to open NMM. Got frustrated and gave up. Now I have a renewed desire to play with some mods on. I installed some just fine after downloading and installing a few mods. But others would "fail installation". Then at some point NMM crashed and left a trace log. Now whenever I try to run NMM I get this error http://imgur.com/67uLFN2 I'm pretty sure this is the same error that discouraged me before. Could anyone help me with getting NMM working again and maybe helping me get other mods working after that? I have some things I suspect but have no idea how to track them down. Much thanks to anyone who can.
Rabbit1251
It would appear that NMM is not finding your Steam application. Where do you have Steam installed on your machine? The Rabbit
LVMickey
So intersetingly enough, while waiting for someone to reply, it decided to launch properly. But before it was detecting it when searching but when I would try and select FO4 from the list of games it would throw that error. Now I got all of the mods to properly install and am following the guide stickied in this forum. I'll let you know if it decided to be delinquent again. Thanks for offering to help, hopefully it won't be needed later lol
LVMickey
Now I cannot get LOOT to find the game...I have it installed to D: and tried to paste the install path because it didn't auto detect. Any ideas?
Rabbit1251
Where is Steam installed? In Program Files (x86) or in the C: directory? Your utilities seem to be having trouble locating it. The Rabbit PS-Sorry, you seem to have said that it is on your D: directory. You might try moving it to your C: directory instead. It is easy and only requires a small utility that you can get off of Steam. Go here:http://lifehacker.com/how-to-move-a-pc-game-to-another-hard-drive-without-re-1714706774 for complete instructions. LVMickey
Steam is in the D: directory so neither?
Rabbit1251
I would move Steam back to your C: drive, either the root or Program Files (x86). Mine is in the root directory to make it more accessible. Which version of LOOT are you using? I didn't know there was a version for Fallout 4. I cannot find it in the mod listings. I understood that the development of LOOT had ended quite some time ago. I am using Bethesda.net to reorder my mods. The Rabbit
