RE; DAWN OF THE THIRD AGE, a Dungeon Siege 2 Map

A few weeks ago I put in a request for a Dungeon Siege 2 category in the listed games. It's still not there.

 

Be that as it may, I have uploaded my DAWN OF THE THIRD AGE map on Indie DB.

 

What I am wondering is if I can include a link to to the map download at Indie DB in a post in Classic Games.

I don't want to get in trouble for a banned type of link.

I don't see why not, I'd wait though, I've raised the issue of that DS2 site not being created with those who can do something about it.

I'm the person responsible for making the games live on the site and am sorry that yours hasn't shown up. I have just been through the list of games and cannot see the request, if I had seen it then it would have been done by now.

 

If you wouldn't mind giving us a second chance then please upload the mod to the site and I will ensure the game is created and activated asap.

 

Apologies that this hasn't appeared.

It seems I didn't do something right with the game request.

 

As it is, I am now working on Ver,1.1 of the DAWN of the Third Age Map. (I discovered gale force winds in an area where there should be no wind). I've also found other minor things missed or inadvertantly changed in my final sweep through the map before uploading. Nothing game breaking, but still, improvements worth doing.

 

So, as it is, Vers.1.1 is the one that should be uploaded. This is a large, complex map, so it will take at least a week of adjusting and checking.

I did Version 1.1 much faster than related. Did a few quick improvements instead of a sweep of the map. The priority was the overwhelming wind.

Have uploaded Vers,1.1 to Mods DB.
