Luscilla
Yes, I have OOO, but the amazon armor that comes with this mod is a different piece of armor, an entirely different mesh. I sorted this out on my own. The files didn't install to their rightful places like they were suppose to. I would say that's most likely the the modders fault and not mine, because I placed everything where it was suppose to be placed. I do read the readmes with everything I download, and the comments section. And this day forward I'm avoiding mods that have alot of complaints, or more than 3 users report a problem. It's the only way.

Do you have OBMM? if not are you willing to download it and send me a report and list of mods you have to look and see what may be your problem? or if you do have it can you send me a report and list of mods you have, I'll see if I can find your problem. I have OOO, but knowing that it is a good mod but conflicts with a lot of others mods, I may be able to solve your problem. I too had a problem similar to that and still have it. I know what causes it and what MOD it is. But I live with it for now, because I like the authors attempt to improve his work. When I have the time I'll let him know about the conflictions and possible solutions he can take to correct them. Anyway, if you want I'll assist or try to assist to solve your problem. Send me your info via PM.
LHammonds
Let me summarize the events that took place today: 11:49 PM - Initial request for help12:50 AM - BUMP (frowned upon here at TESNexus)1:04 AM - 1st reply1:12 AM - Your answer to reply2:27 AM - Your disrespectful post.5:14 AM - 1st reply to disrespectful post.5:54 AM - 2nd reply to disrespectful post.11:26 AM - Back pedaling....2:05 PM - WoggieMonster reports himself thinking he said something wrong.4:00 PM - LHammonds sees report and see nothing wrong with Woogie but does have issues with Luscilla Luscilla, you need to show more respect if you expect to receive any...and yes, your post was quite offensive to the entire community...not just modders. This entire "situation" occurred while the majority of America was asleep (large portion of pseudo-English speaking chaps). Don't expect the forums to be popping with people who have the answers to any question possible at every moment of the day. Be careful what you post and never say anything when your emotions are running high...you'll always end up regretting it. Oh, and yes, I recommend OBMM as well. ;) LHammonds (Moderator)
Luscilla
I'm sorry you feel that way, WoogieMonster. But this problem I had was due to either 7-zip or the modders that made it, because I was certain I installed them to the correct places. I know modding is hard work, and I try to be patience, but I'm not really a patience woman even when I try to be. I have alot of respect for some modders. If I met the authors of OOO, MMM, or exnem female body replacer, I'd hug their neck and say thank you, and I'm sure there is other high quality mods out there like those three. All I ask of a modder is when they upload a mod to be sure to include insctruction on how to install it, and if it's armor, weapons, or a new land, to upload pictures. Alot of modders do this, but not all of them. They should offer support too, and not expect others to use the CS to repair their mods..oh yes, I've seen a modder do just that. herosinger
Luscilla, I have personally used both mods, and I had no problem with either. Both were easy to install. The problem may lie with 7zip, but it certainly does not lie with the modders in question. Like LHammonds said, it would be in your best interest not to insult well-respected modders such as Exnem or Sluggo. As far as support in the mod threads, both mods were uploaded some time ago. I don't know about Sluggo, but Exnem is no longer even active in the community. You can't expect people who donate their time and creativity to hang around for a year or two just so they can answer your question.
LHammonds
All I ask of a modder is when they upload a mod to be sure to include insctruction on how to install it,I doubt that is all you would ask. hehehe. If the mod is like 95% of the mods uploaded, you don't even need to read any installation instructions if you know how to install a basic mod. The Oblivion Mods FAQ on the CS Wiki is a great resource for people to gain knowledge in how to install and troubleshoot mods. and if it's armor, weapons, or a new land, to upload pictures.Ask for screenshots, yes. Require them, No. TESSource lost 100% of all previously uploaded images and it was (is) up to the remaining community to attach screenshots to older mods that may have lost theirs. Dark0ne has given everyone the ability to attach their own screenshots to mods. So even if the author of new mods do not attach files, you could still check out the mod if it interests you, create screenshots and upload them to the mod page for the benefit of the rest of the community. I have created MANY custom screenshots to show the contents of mods on this site to help the authors and set an example for other members to do the same. They should offer support tooNo author "has to" provide support for their mod and should not be criticized for not doing so either. This is a self-supportive community and we tend to help each other out. I actively monitor the mods I upload but sometimes members of this site will post an answer to peoples questions before I even have a chance to do so myself (LFact on the Lost Paladins thread is a good example of one such member). Even if the mod is "bugged", I've seen community members "fix" the problem and post the new ESP plugin as another mod or as an attachment to a thread posting or even have one of us moderators add it to the mod page if they do not mind giving full control to the original author (who could even delete it if they so desired since it's located under their account). Luscilla
If I think a mod deserves critisism I'm not hesitating, and if you want to be bastards about it, ok. There's other forums.
herosinger
If I think a mod deserves critisism I'm not hesitating, and if you want to be bastards about it, ok. There's other forums.Good luck, then. To be fair, most of us did try to help. You'll find in many places that an attitude of entitlement concerning mod authors won't get you far among the people who know what they're talking about. SGTBOB
yeah man give me a break your lucky you got a post within 24 hours and as for obmm i recommend not using itreason for this is its prone to make mistakes and not all mods support it so just place it in yourself its a good learning experience and not at all that difficultthe problem for why your mod is invisible is its missing the textures and maybe even the meshes also and i dont understand why woogie reported himself
