oregano
If someone were to make a high quality armor like this i am sure it would be one of the most downloaded armors on Nexus &/or Steam workshop, both 1066 & the 1230AD versions would look great in skyrim For those who does not know what awesome troops this was: Variagians, were people from the Baltic region, most often associated with Vikings, who from the 9th to 11th centuries ventured eastwards and southwards along the rivers of Eastern Europe, through what is now Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. At least from the early 10th century many Varangians served as mercenaries in the Byzantine Army, comprising the so-called Varangian Guard (the personal bodyguards of Byzantine Emperors). http://i43.tinypic.com/zji7hs.jpg

ScottC12
For your figure on the left, you can get close to the historical Viking look using NorseViking Chainmail II mod by croc for the chainmail hauberk, and the Immersive Armors mod for the Viking round shield (as well as more chainmail hauberks). For the helmet, the vanilla Steel Helmet is close, but I have seen an Early Middleages Helmet Pack mod that appears to have an even closer conical helm with a nasal guard. For your figure on the right, the NorseViking Chainmail II mod does include a lamellar hauberk, but it is not as extensively “lamellared” as the one depicted. I am not sure if you can find that exact helmet, but the Early Middleages Helmet Pack appears to have a helmet that is close. Good luck and good hunting!
