I never got to download, but it seems to be pretty decent this mod here.

Sorry brother, I think I may be missing the gist of your point. They are good models, but I'm a little unsure how they tie into the mod I'm working on.

I can think of at least two problems that will make this mode unusable, so it's just a hopeful possibility right now.....but maybe it will work out.

I haven't had any time to really dig into it, I'm hoping I'll be able to do some work on it sunday.

hey guys, thank you so much Devinpatterson, for making this a reality!! sorry I didn't notice this thread for awhile, maybe nexus mod page and this nexus forum are separate thing. but yeah thanks for pm me about this, its cool! ya should post it on nexus mod page. cheers!!

Thanks, yeah I'll try to put it up soon. I'd rather include it with the extra game mechanics (throwing, switching from 1 to 2 handed etc), so I may take a shot at tying all those options/abilities together before UL'ing it. And new models have to be made so it will co-exist along with another weapon while drawn and it's in one handed mode (on the hip). So some work left to do.

 

I wanted to mention that if you mod the odachi you need to drop it on teh ground then pick it up. After that initial action the new visuals of the weapon mod will come into play when sheathed. From there on, the script will take care of the rest automatically.
