mbradshaw
Hi I am making a starcraft space marine power armor http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24304/? Ammonhra is working on space marine right now, and soon hopefully it can get in game with the new changes. I am also making a Protoss power armor. I am just doing the modeling and uv mapping and some texturing of the models. However, I thought it would be cool to fight zerg creatures in game with the power armors. So I was wondering if anyone has added new unique creatures with custom animations to fallout 4? And if so anyone willing to help get a hydralisk in game if I make it? montky
I think your hypothetical is interesting.you guys made the Ripper what it's supposed to be, is all I'm saying.I've seen a lot of that showcased on Tyrannicon, so it's awesome to see you're all branching out into other projects. while I strictly cannot support some aspects of your hypothetical, for obvious reasons of which you would be aware, namely, my limited FO4 Mod-Fu of course  I'd definitely like to see more new lands and new NPCs/enemies or companions. I can support the inclusion of generic new NPCs and critters, original contents etc;I would be hypothetically speaking with BlahblahDeeblahblahand watching their making of the 2D-3D sketchland, which has 'sketch creatures',that operate with their own packages.not to mention, hilarious 'flying brains'. "Me leaf Earth for no raisin!" or "creature-creations from Autodesk", which shows how to implement those into stuff like Creation. those are literally the armatures you'd have for your amoebic/lizard FEV, acid-gland spitting,8ft tall slug. perhaps its a variant of Centaur that went wrong?they were trying to make a giant tapeworm/sandworm or seasnake, which was hydrophobic... all part of the"vaultTec giant ants makes tunneling bunkers more cost effective" stuff. Some guy called 'Paul "moab" Fremen" showed up, said he was the "Kwisatz-haderach", whatever that means...and stole the only working prototype before 2077... perhaps it's more of a FEV hybrid hermit-crab/slug/lizard... or an invertebrate amoebic lifeform?you might also want to learn more from blahblahdeeblahblah about making said thing a vehicle, much like the buckin'bronco...who wouldn't want to ride around the wasteland on a giant FEV snail that spits melting acid...that "bleh  /"pleeea-kuhl" onomatopoeia soundeffect for the 'acid vomit' sound, would be fun to make a sound alike of. The Author of Maxwell's World also had a 'how-to' guide for the adding of their npc's, the clown-ghost demon things...Fusion City also had a few 'variable geometry' enemies they wanted to add... You might also be interested in "Theta-Tan Realm" -the rad-ghosts, ghost-monsters and Rad-creatures, holographic beings from the teleporter newlands...turns out, the Hubbardonians from FO1 and FO2 were right...some of them are not 2D-3D projected animation/sprite on an invisible solid, they're just meshes with transparent/variable opacity textures.the point is, they have some real "kingdom death"/"the grimoire of Alex Ross" style horror stuff. -----I think some folks also added Fire Geckos, "unicorns",sludge monsters, and platysharks. (half platypus, half great white shark, all terrifying in the boston bay. you'll never look at the water the same again.) the first thing I'd do,once you've made this acid-spitting familiar resembling slug thing,is ride that to Toddsville, and replay the Toddsville "Clear Toddsville" quest."Hi stranger, and welcome to... *pleeea-kuhl* argh! " if it spits acid (modified Rad weapon effect perhaps),then, my ammunition economy should be okay hehe.burrowing animation would be tricky though... I'm assuming when you use burrow,it simulates the MudClaw/Mirelurk burrow animation,ie - play 'burrow effect', leave 'terrain deform token", while toggle opacity to 0%, and play animation/decal of "ground turbulence".I don't know how that would work for vehicles...a 'companion/vehicle' would be very interesting and tricky to make happen... good luck!
