Fallout 4 punch animations are rubbish amirite?

For some reason Bethesda seem unable to give players good punching animations. This has become a common trend in their recent games. Skyrim characters swing slow and wide like apes drunk on ale. Fallout 4 characters swing slow and wide like apes drunk on moonshine.

 

Okay, I understand that people in Skyrim and post nuclear Boston aren't wing chun masters, but you'd think they'd be able to do a simple straight punch. The fist weapon attacks are a bit better, but then the left hand is unused.

 

Ideally, Bethesda should style their unarmed combat on Boxing techniques. Proper punches, not unimmersive or stretching the lore and not flashy.

 

It has been done before. Fallout New Vegas had excellent punching animations. Even Oblivion's were decent.
