I have played a Nord Warrior (The Companions, most of the main quest, some side quests), a Breton Mage (The College) and a Khajiit Thief (Thieves' Guild). I figured I would like to play a new character who interacts more with the world and the regular people in it. This got me thinking of playing a character who is a preacher or some kind of agent of one of The Eight Divines. However, even after reading the UESP Lore articles, I still cannot figure out how such a character would appropriately interact with the world. Zenithar was the most obvious. Cut wood, mine ore, cook food, harvest crops. Focus on Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy and Speech. Perhaps give beggars axes and picks rather than gold. The other divines, I was less sure about. Mara would probably use Restoration and help all who suffer. Kynereth would live among the animals, perhaps. How would such a character appropriately defend themselves against inevitable attacks. Lunder Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 The Nine divines - just because the 2. dominion says so doesn't make it so ;) There's a mod coming out "the Vigilent/s of Stendarr" in April that would focus on killing undead and Daedra you could start now? create a monk priest character and continue that road when the mod releases?download the Sleep, thirst & hunger mods? make it more of a challenge to live as a hermit? Do Temple and or Bard quests, while being a general nice fellow. Inquisitor are a little different and a lot more fun. Unfortunately they're pretty much ruined with all of the cutting Beth did to magic and spell creation.
