MalachiDelacot
I Have been playing oblivion and moding it for about a year and im getting bord  even with the moding so what are some suggestions for games you can mod that are fun  tHANKS :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: Try looking into Thief 2. It's an older game, but has a pretty active modding (fan mission) community. You'd have to find a place to get the game, though. http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=85 I'm here, mostly taking a break from working on a four part mission series. Got everything done but the objectives, and can't get them to work. Sometimes we need to do different things to help clear our mind.

madman132
There are another Games with at least some things similar to Oblivion. "Freelancer" is a Game where you play the Pilot of a one-man Spaceship, trying to get buy in various Systems, trading with Goods or shooting the Hell out of enemies. Now, what has this to do with Oblivion? Its the Freedom. There are many many Factions and you can ally yourself with everyone of them. You can be a Freelance Spacepilot, killing Bad Guys for Money, fighting interstellar Crime. Or buy a Cargoship and be a Trader. Or blow Transportships to high Heavens if you want to be a Pirate. Smuggling is also a nice Way to earn Cash.Despite its Age, the Graphics are beautiful. The Game has a solid Lore, every Faction has its own Backstory and the whole Game makes me wonder why there arent that much Space Operas around. As i said, the Graphics look quite good. This is no big deal though, because "Space" is mainly a "Skybox". Your Computer wont have to deal with so many Objects as it would have to do in something like Oblivion =) So, the Game has a big World and you can develop your Career quite freely. Its old and should be quite cheap to buy therefore. The Graphics are very nice for its Age. Go buy this Thing =) Another Game would be Halflife 2. Well, ingame Freedom my Arse. The whole Game is a Tube. But its Fun anyway. :D And, if you dont wanna miss the ingame Freedom, get yourself "Garys Mod". This is mainly a physics Sandbox. You are spawned in a Map and thats it. You can spawn Things, weld them together to build stupid Machines :D My Speciality is the flying Cargo Container wich drops Watermelons and Bottles =)
Halororor
Freelancer is probably the best space-sim game to date, it had everything a good game needed. There have been many that tried to duplicate it in the past, like Darkstar One. Had it not been for freelancer I'd never have liked space-sim games, that is the game that introduced me to the series. Others like this:Darkstar OneDarkstar One, while not a bad game, was generally a Freelancer clone, the only difference was that you couldn't buy a ship, you had to play through the game with only Darkstar One, wich wasn't that bad seeing as it was pretty much the strongest ship in space, and you upgraded the ship through artifacts, wich you picked up in certain sub-systems or by completing missions. Space merchants:Space merchants, a lot like freelancer, except it's freeware. Sorry that I don't know where to get it, though, but it had it's moments and the graphics were quite good for a freeware game. The X series:I never played any of these titles, but it seems to have garnered quite a following and there is a new one headed this way soon. Eve Online:If you've got the time to play online I suggest rather playing this one, it's like all the others except it's an MMO, never played it as my Internet connection sucks, but if I get a better connection then this is the first thing I'll buy. Check out their website,as far as I know they've got a free trail version that you can download.
