I cannot find the Oblivion data file to properly get my mods running

I have download the mods, but when I go to move them to the Oblivion data file there just is no such file present. I downloaded through Steam and am using Windows 10. I found online that the path for most people is

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion by default if your using Win7 x64

C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion if your using 32-bit.

 

 

but I have no Bethesda destination in my files. at all. I have sat around dicking with it for like 2 hours and I cant find anything. I just uninstalled the game and am reinstalling it now hoping that it lets me choose a destination to install it to or something. But I need help. Any advice?

 

I have a feeling the destination is not similar to those I have found online because I am using Windows 10. but I am unsure

I don't use Steam, but does the steam client has setting for install path? Or you can use Windows file explorer in-built search function to find folders and files.

If you downloaded through steam then it should be C:\Program files (86x)\steam\steamapps\common\oblivion
