Need help with Human Race Mod

Hello everyone.

 

I downloaded the Human Race mod today. When I go to the character screen the face is all darkened. All my other races are still OK. All the hair and eyes on the mod work. It is just the darkened faces and it cant be fixed with adjusting the skin tone.

 

Anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Are you using the deluxe edition? Treetop actually packaged the wrong face texture. You'll need to download the original Human race and install its texture folder. Just say no when asked if you want to overwrite.

I assume you mean this mod. If so, have you tried reading any of the comments posted by other users?

 

Here's one that sounds as though it may contain the solution to your problem:

Sadly, I have the same problem. The head on th female (besides the ears) seem to be black and/or blue. And on the male, the face (just the face) is pitch black. I'm not sure what mod is causing this conflict. It could be a face texture mod. I will look into it.

For I know, Human Race uses Nec's Mystic Dark Elf texture. Download Treetop Smoker's 'Sakura-Human female' and install it.(And judging by the face texture, it was intended as female-only race. If you want male, use other face texture instead of Nec's texture)
