Recommended Mod Managers

Last time i used the NMM it was totally broken for FO4, and they said they weren't working on it anymore and working on the new client ( i forgot their name for it) but that client isn't out and i was going to try to use a user made mod manager but every one i look at seems to say it is not longer being maintained or has been discontinued all together. i am just curious if anyone has any suggestions for a good manager, as i refuse to play FO4 without mods.

The latest NMM works well with FO4. The successor to NMM, Vortex (the phenomenon created by a good flush), won't be available anytime soon.

I have only ever used NMM. I won't say that is doesn't have its problems, but overall it has worked pretty well for me. Some people have reported problems installing some mods with MO.

NMM can seem totally broken if install lots mods at a time.

 

The best way to use it is to add 2 to 3 mods at a time & test.

 

I mod this game manually for the most part. I only use NMM to manipulate my load list & to install mods that use FOMOD XML scripts. This worked out really well since the mods I have had to uninstall were FOMOD mods.

 

I am using NMM for Skyrim SE & since I am only installing 1 or 2 mods at a time it is working perfectly.

thanks for the replies, i caved and decided to try NMM again not long after making this, and it has been working fine for me now, none of the old problems.
