ContagiousCure
Not sure if this is the right forum but since there's no general lore thread I thought I'd post here. Is there any information on how long the Elder Scroll races live? I'm going to assume Imperials and Nords live about as long as humans do. Healthy elves supposedly up to a 1000 years (does this extend to Orcs?). Also, since I love Argonians, I'm wondering how long they would live. Who is the oldest known living Argonian and how old is he? Any information would be welcome.
frakle
I think Bretons have slightly longer lifespans because of they're human with some elf in there, when the Neads (ancestral humans) got it on with the Elves, their magic ability was passed on to their offspring. and ta-da, Bretons. sadly I do not know anything about Argonians. I'm really curious about Argonians. I assume they live longer than the "human" races since crocodiles can live just over a hundreds years and of course there's the galapogas that apparantly lives 170-200+ years. eltucu
They're not half elves. An half elf would have one elven parent. Their mix up with elves happened thousand of years ago, before the first era. Since then all tamriel races have stayed pretty much the same. If im not mistaken, all the "beast" races live as long as humans, or maybe a little less, all the elves live up to 500 years i think, though some exceptional cases like Divath Fyr who was a 4000 year old Dunmer. And there was that woman who met Sinderion in Skyrim, wich is the same Sinderion that the CoC met in Cyrodiil back in the 3rd era, two hundred years ago. I'd say that probably every character lives as long as the writing department needs :D
Kidtaylorx3
Well, if you discount the theory that a certain lying Khajit's father and grandfather and great-grandfather have the same names, he has lived for about 500 years.
eltucu
I think that is not a theory since the certain Khajiit himself actually tells you that, but he is a known liar after all :P

Edokage
Quote from http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Humans : The most significant difference among Men and Mer is their lifespan and way of reproducing. Unlike thousands of years long lifespans of elves human races can not live more that hundred years naturally and most die by ages of 60-80. However, Men can reproduce much quicker than elves. Proper family no matter farmer or royality can have two or more kids without any problems, while for elves even two children is rarity. This is the reason humans seem so pest-like to elven kind.
