xmacrosx
I added a small mod about a week ago called skyrim showroom. Around the entire room are open small windows (over a dozen) and i wanted to have beams of light coming through all of them. Is there a limit to the amount of "beam" light you can have in one cell? I think i read somewhere there could only be 3 sources per cell...
flobalob
I seem to recall reading in the Bethesda tutorial something like the game engine will only draw 4 shadow casters (thats the lights with a purple croshair in them) but the beams are not shadow casters. Just look at how many of there are in the entry hall of Bleak Falls Barrow.

Are beam lights just the light or are thereothe things to add like you have to do for manniquins, weapon racks, etc...?
flobalob
Unless we are talking at cross purposes, the lightbeams are movable statics not lights, you will probably still need to put in one or two lights (but NOT shadow casters at they don't work well with fog effects like the lightbeams or cloud FX (also movable statics). It's something to do with the emittence and NOT reacting to the players torch or magic effects etc (taken from the tutorial video about 3 &1/2 mins in).
