Camonna
Hello, Ive been kicking around this community long before skyrim and Oblivion were even imagined.. specifically the modding community with Morrowind. I'm familiar with the old construction set, and the Creation Kit bears quite a resemblance to it.. Is there anyone here that can summarize (with no great detail, I can also read tutorials) the differences when it comes to how to write quests in the game? (as in, how to get them to work correctly) I'm assuming the dialogue system is way different. Thank you. I use Steam quite a bit and my acct name is: Moving_Salad . I use voice conversation frequently, and I'd go on chat but I was just banned. I've gotten in to petty squabbles with Chat moderators about 'bad language and inappropriate subjects' before so I've been digitally spanked out of the chat. If any modders would like to chat with another creative, likeminded individual I'd really like to do so. I want to contribute some time and energy in to making some interesting new quests. I have sound equipment and could pull off creating some interesting characters with unique voice acting. I have a pretty impeccable understanding of Elder Scrolls Lore as well. flobalob
I started modding on Morrowind, thru Oblivion, FO3 etc. and your best start is probably to go through the Bethesda tutorial (as a start its pretty decent). Some of the things will be familiar but a great many things will not if you are jumping from TES3 to TES5 e.g Navmesh as opposed to Pathgrid. The tutorial will answer some of your questions and probably raise some that you hadn't thought of.
huntsman2310
From what I've been delving into so far. (I have no clue what the quest system was like in Morrowind's CS as I am just starting with the CK.) Its fairly similar, except that dialogue is presented in a branch system. So basically it visualizes the process in which dialogue is done in-game.
