So as you know there's allot of talk about the online skyrim mod.

My self and some friends were starting to believe that introducing co-op/MMO will begin to make the game to easy unless a mod is active that when you are in a party the game becomes almost impossible to play by your self any thoughts on it guys ???

There's already a mod with multiplayer. It's far from stable but it's still there.

Me personally, I wouldn't go near multiplayer in an Elder Scrolls game. Simply because it wouldn't feel right. I play this series to get away from multiplayer and to enjoy an endless amount of content while not having to deal with children on their mics.

But, if it was more of a co-op style multiplayer like Portal 2, maybe I would try. That's a big maybe though.

I would try multiplayer with a friend, since we'd just have to use the exact same mods for it to work and since I know him. For games with random people though, it's basically useless since you'd have to have no mods and it would really destroy the atmosphere to play with people using leetspeak who give no thought to role play.

If you've played MMOs with randoms you know what I'm talking about:

"hey lol dhja wanna play that qest again what u in? lol grlfrend is crying i dont do none of that role play stuff for ppl hwo have no lives. lol I got big ****"

Played FPS multiplayer titles for years, and during that time had lot's of fun.........but things changed over time, namely the way players played and interacted in-game. Hacking had become so prevalent that if you were a truly good player on a server, and kicking folks butts, it was assumed you were hacking and you were booted from the server. I am playing and enjoying Skyrim, my first foray into non-FPS/multiplayer because I can immerse myself in the game and massive content, on my schedule, without dealing with whiners, hackers, and absolutely ridiculous server admins who think they are a GOD while hiding behind a computer screen. I think dealing with the hackers and jerks became the real turnoff for me in the multiplayer format, and that definately became noticably worse by the time games such as Joint Ops came along. It's a shame really, but on the other hand, it opened up a whole new gaming element that I am truly enjoying. Nice not having to deal with nade spammers, spawn rapers, hackers, and I would definately not play Skyrim in a multiplayer format. I was also totally amazed at the problems my son had over time with his WOW account, for example, and after several hacks of his account he moved on. For some, multiplayer may be something they would look forward to, for me; I like Skyrim just the way it is, not to mention I don't see any way without re-coding the entire game that Skyrim would be a viable multiplayer game. JMHO.

I think that Skyrim Online is very far from being playable, so your question about difficulty in a co-op mode is something that will be dealt with if/when they can work all the other problems out. Last time I checked you couldn't even see any other players online and the only fighting you could do was against waves of enemies, who are not the same enemies other people are seeing (if you get what I'm saying).

They have a lot more to worry about before difficulty.

I agree with you guys, the main problem is going to be the game becoming to easy as there is more than one person fighting the same target.

But i love the idea behind the online aspect of skyrim it would almost replace wow for as i only play it as a replacement for not have an online TES game :)

I personally hate mmorpgs and would not even consider ruining my Skyrim experience by adding that garbage to it. My ex got me to try World of Warcraft and I despise that cartoony crap. But that is MY OPINION AND PERSONAL TASTE. Obviously a lot of people enjoy this type of game or they wouldn't be so popular. It's just not for me.

I never quite understood the attraction in killing kids in-game...Until now, yes I can see how one could be driven to such acts...

OT: I detest On-line games like the plague, it's as if you're playing in an unmoderated forum, with all the idiotic behavior that comes with it...*Shiver..Although, Felicia Day is a dedicated wow player after all, so I'd have to recant a bit of at least some of my hatred for MoRPGs..
