Noirslate
Hi I've been encountering this issue where the eye texture (maybe mesh?) for my standalone followers look like they're "low quality" and not reflective, as compared to my player character. For reference, my current follower: As player character As follower As you can see, the realistic gloss that the eye has is just missing in the follower version. Here's an upclose of the eye gloss Any help would very much be appreciated. Thank you! Edited August 23, 2017 by Noirslate
Tasheni
I don't know if it helps but I experienced that after merging headnifs the eyes_sk.dds is often missing and needs to be included in nifskope below the eyes_n.dds, the normalmap. Check in nifskope if all is at the right place.
Noirslate
@Tasheni, luckily that wasn't the problem, but you pointed me in the right direction! After searching around I finally figured out the definitive fix, here in this sticky post and it's comments Edited August 31, 2017 by Noirslate
PeterMartyr
@Noir Dear God how about copying Block NiShapeData including sub-blocks in RaceMenu or ECE Head with Nifskope, then deleting equivalent Block in CK Head, then Pasting New Block that you copied? Then fixing the Block Details Repeat for head, eyes, mouth, brow, don't do the hair!!!! Learning to use NifSkope & stop using NifMerge is the definitive fix.
