Build your own Keep and town

My main motive behind this mod would be to add end game content that makes high level characters relevant.

My idea would be to be able to gradually build a new city and keep around a series of quests. It would be something similar to what Breath of Fire does for the SNES. You start out maybe helping a few refugees that had been displaced by a forsworn attack. Maybe help them get materials for temporary shelter or finding an empty house. The word gets out about your deeds and other refugees appear in the area, maybe you save a few of them from kidnappings or badly planned expeditions into a dungeon.

The people you 'recruit' would take on roles within the city like shopkeepers. It may be interesting to even make a set of elite crafters that would create things for your armory and guards. For example you'd recruit an elite blacksmith, provide him with 100K gold and he will outfit your guards with deadric gear. Maybe an elite alchemist would provide additional potions that are not craftable by the player.

the process of building the city would require that the exterior world be visible dynamically which may be a problem, I'm not very familiar with the limits of the game in this regard. This could be solved by inhabiting an 'old dwemer' stronghold and creating rooms that are dynamically blocked off in response to certain quests being completed.

I know this would be a huge mod and someone is most likely working on a similar idea, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to through it out the interverse.

Yes, I could work on this but it takes a long time definately and also there are probably more experienced Modders out there than me. Im still learning.

But it's definately a good idea. I worked on an idea like this at the very beginning of the creation kit. Had built up the village , a wall, interacting guards and some taxes dialogues finished. But it was very bugged so I decided to not continue it.

Anyway I hope someone will do this :)
