imsiin
Glad to see that I'm not the only one. Sadly this has been happening since 0.14.1 This worked for me GL http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/528776-wars-in-skyrim-ii/page__view__findpost__p__4766727 @imsiinlook 5 posts below thisAlso:How to sort load order with Skyrim V1.4.27 until BOSS, NMM and Wrye Bash are updated. Sort mods with BOSSClick 'Hide all Mod Messages' in BOSS LogCopy list of mods except Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and Unrecognised plugins (if any).Open C:UsersxxxxxAppDataLocalSkyrimplugins.txt and overwrite with list from BOSS LogSave Plugins.txt and start game with SKSE. Blaac
updated to 0.15.0 and mine starts up, but then any mod I try to activate or update, etc... it says "A problem occurred during install. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The mod was not installed." Don't suppose there's a way to revert back to my previous version of NMM? That one worked fine. (note to self: In the future, If it ain't broke don't fix it.)(note to nexus: The above note-to-self does not apply to you. Please keep innovating because you are good at it and I appreciate everything you do... except 0.15.0... please keep up the good work and I am not mad.) Exact same thing. Was getting identical error trying to install ANY new mods I tried after update. Then I decided to close the manager and reopen it... Now the manager wont even OPEN anymore and I only get the "Something bad seems to have happened." error.
Atned
Piece of advice: don't try to start your game with this version of NMM, it corrupts your save files.. every single one of them. Luckily I had backed them up about a week ago. It's probably best if we wait until they fix the problem.

Mepeteatu
Glad to see that I'm not the only one. Sadly this has been happening since 0.14.1 Creating the folder: C:\Program Files\Data appears to have fixed the problem for me. Doesn't matter now 0.15.8 crashes NMM.
