A lot of people seem to like the concept of Morroblivion, but unfortunately Bethesda's hands appear to be tied behind their backs in their OWN game.

This thread is NOT for discussing Morroblivion(threads already exist for that.)

This thread is NOT for insulting/flaming Bethesda for not allowing Morroblivion(it isn't their fault!)

This thread is NOT for bashing the companies that don't want Morroblivion to exist.

This thread is NOT a petition for Morroblivion. Please do not use it as such.

The purpose of this poll is to determine how much people would pay for Morrowind with Oblivion's engine. Hopefully, if this gets enough votes, Bethesda could re-create Morrowind on Oblivion's engine and make more money off it.

If there is a lot of support for this, Bethesda may consider it to be worthwhile recreating Morrowind.

The point of this is:

If there is enough support for this, Bethesda may consider spending the time, money, and effort to update Morrowind to use the Oblivion engine. I understand that this will cost Bethesda a significant amount of time and money, but after all this thread's topic is "how much would you PAY for Morrowind with Oblivion's engine?"

Good poll! I would definitely pay for it. I checked the 40-49 box.

I'd like to see some new quests .. maybe a new 'Main Quest' that involves both Vvardenfell and Cyrodiil. As usual, I would like several hundred new side quests that keep the game interesting ..

I think a PC should be able to walk or ride from Cyrodiil to Morrowind and the Inland Sea, then get on a boat and sail to Vvardenfell. And come back and forth as often as she wants to ..

Ohh. Bring back the Cliff Racers! I miss them in Oblivion ...

And above all .. be sure we will be able to "Mod' it just as we can the current games.

:)

That wouldn't happen. This is only for making Morrowind with Oblivion's engine (keep all your Oblivion mods and use the game engine), but it would NOT combine the 2 games.

Since it would use Oblivion's engine, anything that worked on Oblivion would work with this if it was made.

I put 30-39, I would pay more if it was able to be integrated into my current Oblivion game.

Even more than that if all of Cyrodiil could be integrated (around $60.00).

Oh, now I have to recount all the values.... how much would that be... 50 dollars would be less than 1250 rublei... Really not too much, especially for Morrowind, but if it's all addons, and... let's say... engine is better than Oblivion's and all graphics uptated while keeping all of Morrowind's uniquiety. But if it's only the original game and the only change is the engine... hardly more than simply for original game, 30-40$.

Anyway, I'm planning to buy Morrowind + addons again for about a year now. It's the modders who are to blame for me still planning, as every time I've almost decided to go to the store they just release something absolutely wonderful and ruin my plans :)

I said $30-$39.

I chose this, because you can find Morrowind for pretty cheap these days, and Oblivion is getting lower in cost.

All the quests and armor would be nice. Though, it still wouldn't have that "Morrowindy Feeling," you know?

If Bethesda re-made Morrowind with Oblivion's graphics, I would definetly pay up to $50 for it (maybe more  )

The only thing would be they would have to do is leave the quests and such untouched.

20-29, you can not simply recycle a successful videogame with a new graphic engine (not the most up-to-date, also) and sell it at the price of a fully developed one.

I think the price of an add-on would be more suitable and could attract many customers.

A little bit OT but: I'm in Europe, how much does a new fresh videogame cost in the US ? ~50-60$ ? Here it is @ 50/60 Eur, while an add-on like SI is ~30 Eur.

I would only pay 20-29 $ for it. I live in south africa and that amounts to about R160 - R250. Maybe I'll pay a little bit more, but $50 is way too expensive, the average salary in South africa is about $1000 and with our high petrol prices here that makes it a lot less easy to buy the stuff we want.
