CahirVicovaro
Sorry to Open this 2 year thread but I'm in a similar situation but need help, I've been doing this for 2 days and tried testing multiple times. What I want do this is what the OP wanted to do but with apperances. For instance I want to get rid of the all the dirt, face paint, complections and scars from every bandit in the game aswell as customising them with KS hairdos or Apacchi. Sort of like 'Retouched Bandits' The problem is when I try to do this it always black faces. However, If I create a duplicate there is no problems whats so ever. What I really need help with is tutoring on how the 'Base ID' works in the creation kit and the Template option. This is all for MO2 btw. Someone may not reply lol, but worth a shot. agerweb
I presume your changing the faces of all the Tenplate Bandits in which case you will have to run facegen on all the changed NPC's. This will generate loose files which will overwrite the vanilla facegen in the Skyrim bsa's.
