Refreshing language strings without starting new game?

So I started a new game and forgot to translate one of the mods, so now some of the items are in a different language. I translated the esp but the changes aren't showing up unless I start ANOTHER new game where it works fine. Is there a way to use the new strings for my current save game?

 

Strange that the current save game won't see the new ones, I didn't think the old strings would be saved anywhere :/ Where is it pulling it from?

Should suffice to once drop all the affected items and pick them back up.

Ah yes, it worked, thanks! Another thing that threw me off, was that some items in the "cell" were already spawned with the other language name, even though I hadn't picked them up or looked at them before (already generated so sort of saved, I guess?). Once I went to a different place, the items there were spawned with correct names, thankfully. At least, I think that's how it works.
