If I delete the updated FO4 and copy the 1.9.4 back up, without updating it this time... and re-install the mods, will it work, does anyone know?You don't need to delete the whole game, or reinstall mods. F4se said there was a .dll missing the first time I ran the game, sorry not sure which one it was, I just copied the missing dll from my backup and all is well, mostly.I'm having no problems playing but most of the items are missing from the ESC menu. To get out of the game I have to hit tilde ~ and qqq. You shouldn't have to reinstall your mods just copy Fallut4.exe and the missing dll file. Yesterday everything worked fine, but after the creation crap my f4se launcher won't work... Now, I always back up my files BUUUT since I reformatted my drives, reorganized my storage drives and like a FOOL I deleted my whole backup drive folder. Is there anyway I can roll back if I don't have a backup exe? I tried the game without f4se and too many menu mods and my place anywhere isn't working, can't get the special commands to move my workbench, etc... I thought I could prevent it by selecting "update only when I open the game" and then using offline mode, but the game won't start in offline mode.EDIT "SOLVED" : Apparently, I had to had it set to "not-auto-update" before. sopmac45 Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 F4SE does need to be updated since Bethesda added ( in my opinion a stupid idea ) the Creation Club, where you BUY Mods.Didn't we cross this road before No one wants to buy mods! Donating a few $ once in a while to modders to help them out is fine but not paying for mods! .. yes, I saw that when I started playing a couple of hours ago ... I saw the Creation Club ... so are you saying that in order to make F4SE to work for my game I need to "buy" it from Bethesda ? No just wait for them to update it then it will work fine. I'm not sure if they know what is going on and the game was updated. If I knew I would have not let the update run. Did not know either ... I guess that re-installing the whole game and mods again will not cut it here right ? Does anybody have an idea when the update will be available ?
