new to modding and problems

So i wanted to mod my game so that I could romance morrigan. I downloaded nexus mod manager,equal love and the got items with potion 9. Installed nexus and double clicked. It says in nexus that the mods are installed, yet there is no difference in my game at all. The one for the command console worked yet i cant find the potion 9 or get the romance options or mori chan.

Issues using a specific mod should be raised in that mod's Comments area.

 

That said, romancing Morri is absurdly easy/frustratingly difficult, no matter what. :laugh:

She'll invite you to her tent fairly early, with a fairly low Approval level (compared to Leli or Big Al.)

But she'll get... distant when she realizes she's In_Love.

 

If you're playing a female Warden, are you sure you've installed "Equal Love" correctly? It was written long before NMM even existed. I have no idea what happens if you don't install it manually (i.e. "in accordance with the author's instructions".)

 

(Also, what's "potion 9"? :huh: )

If you used the override version of Equal Love v1_06 then it was made for DAO-ModManager not Nexus Mod Manager, which as Thandal pointed out did not even exist at the time.

There is no potion 9 in Equal Love, it just overrides the default dialogue files to make them gender neutral.

If the Equal Love folder is in your C:\Users\Username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder and it is not working.

the likely reason for it not working, is you have another mod or mods that overrides the same files. (fixpacks or other romance mods)

If you list the mods you have installed, someone will tell you which mods change the same .dlg files.

Thanks for your time guys. I looked about a bit in files. I think I installed equal love correctly as i followed the manual instructions. I got the console mod work via the same way. I think I am that far through the game now I might just play as it is and stop faffing about. Next time maybe it be easier to just play as a male character.
