Hello, i'm new to the mod thingy and this site, i already played FO3 and FONV on Xbox360 but now i have FONV on PC bough from Steam.

this is good chance for me to get exp about play with mod, the question is

1.Did the FO3 mod usable on FONV too? like skin, armour, weapons, perks, etc, since both game use same engine but i'm not sure if it can crossover each other.

2.Since i bough it from Steam, if i need to install the mod, where do i need to put them in?

3.Anyone know good japan skin? i mean um.....those manga thingy, this didn't mean i don't like western stuff but it seem they're everywhere in this site but

eastern / asian, stuff seem to hard to find here.

apologize for poor english : (

1. I would guess probably not, because Oblivion, FO3, FONV, and Skyrim technically use a variation of the same engine, although FO3 and FONV may be able for some if not all the things you mention, I am just unfamiliar with their possibilities.

2. If manual install, default location of steam would be C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data or C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Data

If you plan to mod your game It would be very good to install Steam outside of your program files folder, because every time you change anything in that folder a popup appears asking permission to change something in that folder, this can be very frustrating at best (eg. C:\Steam) If you plan to run more than 20 to 30 mods or more I suggest looking into mod managing software like Nexus Mod Manager, Wrye Bash, or FOMM, and a load order program Like BOSS (witch stands for Better Oblivion Sorting Software, but works for about 5 or so different games, FO3, and FONV included). These are very complex and take time to learn to use but, you will thank me in the long run. :-)

3. As for searching for other than english language, under the file drop down look for tag search and it has a filter for many other languages.

I hope this helps... and good luck in modding your games...
