jdkzombie
Many people don't want to wait for mod authors to update, if any do at all, and would instead like to simply have a game they purchased, work with the mods that all worked two days ago and now do not. I posted a link to a post on Steams own forums about rolling back from 1.10 to 1.9 for Fallout 4. This is not against the ToS that I am aware of, so why is it being deleted? Are the Nexus admins paid off by Bethesda to squash any talk of telling the CC to go screw itself? That it's okay that Bethesda gets to use our HDD/SSD to store their assets free of charge to them? I posted the link to let others know they can safely roll back, and at least play until all their mods work, instead of being plagued by launch crashes, or having to start new games because of scripting changes or the usual Bethesda screw up. TheVampireDante
Because you're providing links to somewhere people can go to in order to download copyright material. People can't legally share the old .exe and its related material. As for mods not working - the only ones I've seen that had issues are script extender reliant mods, and it has already been updated (along with a lot of other mods) to run with the newest game update. If you don't want the CC content - then delete it, ignore the ingame menu option and complain to Bethesda about it.
jdkzombie
To go download material they already own and paid for. You can't steal your own car right? Myself and many others are unable to even launch fallout with 1.10. Disabled all mods, click fallout, starts up and then crashes. I don't use F4SE. Still crashed. Rolled back to a version of the game I both owned and paid for, and now it works just fine.
RangerDulann
Technically we dont own the game, we just have a license to use it.That being said.. some mods are still broken like Shadowboost and Face Ripper. So a rollback is the only way to get them working again. Pholostan
Yes, you technically don't own anything on Steam. They let you use it, that is all. They can actually take away everything tomorrow if they feel like it. And and making copyrighted content available without permission is not allowed.
