Cant get new mesh to work in ck or fix it in nifskope

Well if you compare it to an original armor:

- contains a skeleton / bones (NiNodes)

- uses BSSShaderTextureSet for textures

- uses BSDismembersSkinInstance for weighting and blending out body parts of necessary

 

You have to import the armor parts to a 3D program that supports NIF files (Max3Ds and Blender got a PlugIn) to attach it to a skeleton.

I only use the Max3Ds method, here is a good tutorial:

 

 

If this is to difficult i would recommend to start with easier stuff like weapons, those use no skeleton/bones - to get a feeling for the import process.
