I am an energy weapons lover, and it looks like Rifleman's penetration perk does not work on any energy weapon at all. Read more here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Rifleman "Rifleman is a perk in Fallout 4. This perk affects both energy and ballistic weapons, but only reduces a target's ballistic damage resistance, not energy or radiation resistance." I have been checking everywhere for a mod that would fix that, have you guys come across something that would achieve this? Hard to be BoS when your using ballistic rifles as you can't justify loosing so much damage per shot on two guns that, essentially, fire as fast as you can push the fire button since neither is automatic. O.o Energy weapons have been getting the short end of the stick ever since Bethesda took over. They were somewhat usable in 3 but hardly any options, Obsidian didn't give them anything to counter their new armor system for New Vegas, and in 4 they don't even get dedicated perks. Such a waste. I would really like to see rifleman and commando combined, and one of them replaced with a dedicated energy weapons perk. That would give us the same weapon categories that we used to have skills for, plus one for pistols. Rifleman should apply to all rifle-style weapons, semi, bolt, automatic, whatever, and give the chance for stagger. The Energy weapons perk should be the one that ignores armor.
