iCountABCs
As the title says, I would like to know where mods go after uninstalling them. I accidentally deleted NMM and now after re-installing it, it uninstalled all my mods! I had like, 50 plus mods and I would really like to get them back the easy way instead of having to sieve through all the thousands of Skyrim mods there are. Thanks in advance. Usually the mods are in the skyrim folder skyrim/mods ... so if this folder is empty I think you are fu**ed XD.If you didn't create a custom folder when installing that is. Well...that sorta depends on what you mean by "uninstalled" All mods reside in your Data folder. When their, they could be considered "installed". You then have to activate them (either via the Launcher, NMM or Wrye Bash) for them to actually "work". Now, I find it highly unlikely that NMM would just delete all your mods like that, but this is also why you should always first download mods to a separate folder before actually installing them. flobalob
If you used the downlod with manager button to download them in the first place then de-activated them with the button in NMM, the de-activated mods should still be in Skyrim\mods albeit in their compresed form i.e. .zip/.7z/.rar etc.
