TheNexusLurker
I'm not experience with the CK at all but, I found a video where one of the house mods had positioned skeletons. I don't know if the skeletons are treated the same was as NPC corpses but, the mod is called The Evil Haunted Mansion . I saw this mod in a video by Smike. Video Here. Cameron71
Using the Havok button in CK does work. To get a corpse to lay down I took a body and lifted it up and dropped it to the ground a couple times until I got it into about the right position. To get the arms and legs into the exact position I wanted I placed an un-moving chair close to the body part I wanted to move, selected the body, and turned on the havok. Took 5 minutes to get it exactly right. If I wanted to have a dead sitting thing I would place an object like a box as tall as the characters knees behind the character. I would place another box like a back stop to a chair behind and above the first box. I would place two man sized boxes on either side and one in front of the character so it could only fall backwards, and hopefully in a sitting position. JoKelly
Trying to make a skeleton sit on a ledge, dead and harmless... and it is really hard! Also trying a similar thing with a dragon having crashed through a wall, breaking it. It is REALLY difficult to get them into a good position! Try to make a skeleton sit leaned towards a wall! I am still having extreme issues with this!I don't know if this will work, but set up the sit on ledge Furniture marker, have the soon to be dead body linked ref to and set to own and see if that works. I dont have CK on this machine or I would try it.
squidge316
BUMP. I created a tutorial which explains where to find the Starts Dead tick, how to position the body with havok system & use it with Z axis; and how to move individual body parts with Alt + left click.I hope it helps
