Semtex
How do I run a few instances Nifscope under Windows 7 x64? In WinXP I was accustomed to when I mark model.nif (for example - in the archives), automatically is opened a new window Nifscope and the model is loaded. Under Windows 7 x64 this not work.I know - I can open a new window with Ctrl + N, but it is higly impractical - I must tediously navigate through directories and from archives the model can not be loaded. Nephenee13
Err...it works that way for me under 7 x64, so you have a setting messed up somewhere.
Semtex
somewhere Well, but - where? It's annoying - I have W7 installed only since December 2011, so for me are still unknown. Edited March 6, 2012 by Semtex
Saratje
I just right-click on the file I want to edit, select open with and choose NifSkope. It then opens in a new window. Don't rely on double-clicking or just executing a file. Every few windows versions, windows treats file opening differently (though you can often setup how windows should take care of opening files, e.g: a new window per click, or opening it in the existing window). When I work on a project, I use shortcuts to older folders. For example if I mix say, Draugr armour with Wolf armour, then I got a shortcut in the Draugr mesh folder to the Wolf mesh folder, and a shortcut to the Draugr texture folder as I'll need to use both regularly. It's a good way to handle multiple file archives. Edited April 30, 2012 by Saratje
