Mod Organiser and Unmanaged files

Could someone help me please, ive just done a clean re-install of steam,skyrim and sse, and also run mod organiser, but in the left hand panel the dawnguard,dragonborn and heathfire files all have

unmanaged against them, what has caused this and how can i correct it please

I'm going to take a guess that it sees some mod files in the list which are in the main Skyrim data directory, not its own folders where it would typically install a mod - so it is not managing those files. Notice that it doesn't list Skyrim.esm or Update.esm, so I guess the problem here is that it doesn't recognise the DLC, which it should really. If that is indeed the problem then you either ignore it or, if you really must, let MO organise them which means you move them out of the main Skyrim data directory and into the MO folders instead so that it can appropriately manage them. Personally, I'd leave them where they are and ignore it.

That's normal. The official DLC's are in the data folder rather than mods installed with MO. My DLC's have always been unmanaged and I've left them that way.

so its okay to play game and unmanaged files wont crash game

Yep unmanaged DLC's won't cause crashes. Just make sure they are at the top on the left side, as they are on the right side. I haven't crashed in a couple years, so if you crash, it's from something else.
