"Search (Item)" text missing

First of all, I have no idea how in holy hell it happened. I would like to assume it's the mods that are doing this to me but...well, let's talk about the problem at hand.

Whenever, and wherever, I go, items that I intend to look through do not have the word Search and whether or not it is empty. A sample text would be:

E) ______ Metal Box _____

Where the Blanks would have Search, or open if it was a door, and whether it was empty or not. I have no clue why it's doing this now. It's getting incredibly frustrating to search areas with a LOT of boxes (such as Fort Constantine) and going over the same boxes three or four times to double check (I'm stupid, sorry, I forget which are emptied already.) Anyone know how to fix this problem? Or if anyone's ever seen this problem?

My load order for mods is:

Fallout3.esm

Anchorage.esm

ThePitt.esm

BrokenSteel.esm

PointLookout.esm

Zeta.esm

Project Beauty.esm

EVE.esm

Project Beauty- Broken Steel.esp

Project Beauty- Point Lookout.esp

GNR Enhanced.esp

SariDPoses.esp

BlackWolf Backpack.esp

BlackWolf Backpack - Vendor Script Replenish.esp

BlackWolf Backpack - Blank's Container Patch.esp

Solace.esp

3EFhelmlessstealthsuit.esp

Cadian shock trooper.esp

DIM TYPE3 conversions.esp

DIM TYPE3clothesRETAIL.esp

space marine powersword.esp

FatherandNun.esp

FO3-Closing-merged.esp

ignis.esp

jonasclothesnonrplcr.esp

kikaiEquipment.esp

SchoolUniforms.esp

SomeClothes.esp

EVE.esp

EVE Operation Anchorage.esp

F3ProjectRealityMkI.esp

I organized it using BOSS and placed the ones that are unknown to BOSS at the bottom. Do you guys think my load order is FUBAR? Or maybe one of my mods is screwing with the text? Would be great if anyone can help! Thanks!

Is there any possible way to recover a damaged save? Also, it's not my save files I think. When I started a new game the text was missing regardless. I switched pitt and put it in front of Anchorage and it didn't do anything. The Darnified UI didn't fix it either (but damn, whatever I can see looks significantly nicer.) I'm really stumped. Thanks for the advice though, unfortunately still not working...

Try this, disable all your mods and start the game. Let it play for a few minutes and save. Exit the game and than enable your mods one by one until the problem occurs again. The last mod you enabled is the one causing the problem.

It is inside one of the mods you are using. They did this because it makes the game harder. I would think it would be whichever mods you were using that deal in gameplay overhawl. I'll try looking at "empty no more" for which data entry it deals with.

*edit* I got nuthin

I tried the disabling thing, it didn't seem to do the trick. Though, i DID iron out which one was causing me to crash (Oodly enough, it was a mod i was able to use before...so...weird.) Does my ini file or saves matter in this case? Would editing settings abit help? Thanks for the help so far again.

Not really, but the autosave, quicksave, an saves ending in .Fos in your mydocuments/mygames/fallout/saves folder can cause probs. If you got some then just delete them. The game prefetches them a bit when you launch so it's possible you could have something stuck in there from that. Can you take a picture of the issue an post it up here, that might be helpful to us.

I believe I found my problem. When you said the .fos files could give me problems I ended up just backing up my saves and deleting everything inside my saves folder. After rebooting and starting a new game, the text returned to me. I loaded up a my backup saves and yeah, its fixed. Whatever was causing me problems was probably inside the saves folder itself. Thank you for the help (and pointing out to me the Darnified UI!)
