Chuckhustle
So I was speaking with a fellow Beth game fan and we got on the topic of great New Vegas mods when it dawned on me that pintocat made a mod for that game titled Follower Home Marker which allowed followers to move into non vanilla abodes. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=36738 I am certainly not the right person to attempt such an undertaking as I am still currently trying (in vain it seems) to learn the rudimentary basics of papyrus scripting and what not. I've attempted to contact pintocat but have not recieved any reply. While it would not be a direct port since only spouses move into player owned abodes it still seems that it closely parallels his mod enough to at least get a nod from him before going forward. I'm seeking advice, knowledge, and assistance in this undertaking. I believe this would fix the problem of each mod author attempting to make their home move in capable through editing the RelationshipMarriageFIN quest and the problems that causes as discussed in the thread below. http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1351014-adding-spouse-to-new-player-home/ Edited March 6, 2012 by Chuckhustle
gsmanners
Followers and Spouses are two totally separate notions. I wouldn't try to use the same methods. Obviously, only Bethesda can say who and where the player available spouses are in this game, and modding that is really playing with fire. To be honest, I don't really see the attraction in having a spouse in this game. (Followers are just a huge pain in the butt, as well, given how terrible the UI is about that kind of thing.) Sunnie
You could fake it by assigning a spouse or follower with custom AI packages (and removing the ones they had) that pretty much sends them to your custom house and tells them to "fly casual".
