MisterSmexy
My skyrim game is on my laptop because I play it on trips and on flights. It is a offline game and I liked that aspect. Now I can't seem to play skyrim because when I load skyrim up normally I get "Save data corrupt files missing". When I load NMM up then I can continue playing on my saved file no problems at all. So, I wanted to know how to load skyrim's NMM in OFFLINE mode so I can play while flying and taking trips. I love the mods, but I didn't know NMM needed a internet connection to work pretty much crippling my game.
Rabbit1251
I think that it has been said that the requirement for you to be online when using the Nexus Mod Manager will be one of the first things removed when it comes out of beta testing, whenever that is. MisterSmexy
Ok, So if I copy the skyrim folder to another directory and install mods directly into it they should work right? without the need of NMM?
Rabbit1251
You should be able to install mods to your current directory, but moving it will work, too. Rabbit
MisterSmexy
Ok, Now i have a bigger problem. I installed all my mods to a seperate Skyrim game directory. c:/Games/Elder Scrolls V Skyrim/Data <--- Original using NMM Copied ^ and put it in c:/Games/Custom Skyrim/Elder Scrolls V Skyrim/Data <---Installed all the mods directly. My problem now is the "Data Files" Selection to the Launcher in the Custom (c:/Games/Custom Skyim/Elder Scrolls V Skyrim) is not finding my .esp(s) or the .esm(s). I tried manually going to my c:/Users/(Name)/AppData/Local/Skyrim and opened DCL.txt and Plugin.txt manually typing in the .esp/.esm names saved and ran still no updating or detecting. Rabbit1251
No, the directory should be "C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data", or in your case "C:/Games/Steam/SteamApps/common/Skyrim/Data". That should be the one. The Skyrim folder should not be outside the Steam folder. Rabbit
