A small step for a man, but a huge-a$$ step for gamers.

Check this out, and this.

I'm not sure if you've heard it already, and I didn't find any topic for this, so I thought I'd just mention it.

Apparently, we gamers aren't the only one's that has a grudge against Jackie. It appears, however, that he has bit off more than he can chew, and if lady luck smiles on us, he might bite the dust too.

This is friggin victory for gamers.

When Fox News put up Jack as an 'expert' on game violence, I lost a lot of respect for Fox. Some of their other 'experts' aren't either.

We'll miss him, but not much.

I find poetic justice in this. A man who purports to have a religious and moral objection to video games has had his hypocracy shown to the entire nation. His arrogance and total disregard for free expression and reckless misuse of the judicial system has finally bit him in the a**.

Good riddance I say. One less lawyer to clog our courtsystem with frivolous lawsuits.

Can't say I'm happy when a guy might lose his career. But I hope a conviction helps throttle his fanatic pursuit of gaming as the root of society's ills. This kind of one-dimensional thinking almost always leads to more harm than good.

and even if it doesnt lead to a conviction it wil seriously harm his credibility the next time he tries to use video games as the lynch pin for al of societies ailments
