TheZombiWolf
So i have a ton of mods, most armor and weapons. maybe one or 2 overhauls but anyway. I have Alternate Start. I choose what i want to do, and it crashes before the loading screen. so i tried a different outcome, didn't do it. great. so I'm running around butchering all of Solitude and CRASH. it crashes when i either get close to a hold capital, when entering a building/ exiting. and anything to do with the East side of the map. My mod list is listed HERE. Can someone help me with my Load Order if that's the issue. In case you're wondering, yes i ran LOOT and fixed the problems with TES5edit but it still crashes. Deleted3082751User
what are your System Specs, and GPU, CPU and Memory Usage what Operating System are you on also ? Have you deleted any mod whilst being in an active playthrough (as in a playthrough that has made progress, even as little as getting past the intro to the game) more importantly mods that Use, Edit or have custom scripts. (in other words, have you deleted any scripted mod half way through a playthrough) 1. you have quite a few script related mods, so this could be script related 2. you do have a lot of mods, thus this will increase the likely hood of mod conflicts, 3. have you changed any of the skyrim ini files, and more importantly have you changed any of the papyrus settings. the only thing i can recommend is: you will need to disable all mods then enable 5 at a time, until the game starts crashing again. to see if its a conflict based issue judging from the OP this sounds very likely to be a script based issue, simply because of the nature of crashes, else it could very well be multiple mods causing issues a Few mods that stand out to me that has be known to cause issues are: SexLab - (i have seen many posts where people are crashing, freezing and bad performance, and this mod has been mentioned in quite a few of them posts - does not necessarily mean this could be the cause, but the chances are pretty high simply because of the amount of times its mentioned) Ethereal Elven Overhaul - (same as above, however i have used this mod, and have not personally experienced crashes related to this mod, but the many makes it more likely to be true, then the few.) thats all i can think of at the moment. until i see your specs. Deleted3082751User
1st of all it seems your CPU is severely downclocked <-- probably because of power saving features (this is not good for a heavily modded game) second of all your GPU is very sub par, checking benchmarks a gtx 560 blows it out of the water, and that card is very old, so i can only assume that your notebook is pretty old it looks like your system would be equivalent to a ps3 or xbox 360 maybe even worse basically your system cannot handle a heavily modded skyrim or even a modestly modded game. so it looks like the very likely cause of ctd is hardware related and more specifically lack of resources. SexLab is apparently known for causing save bloat, this would indeed lead to CTD, Poor Performance, and eventual Save Game Corruption I need to know you GPU, CPU and Memory Usage, Tempertures and Framerate, to make sure this is in fact hardware related, which seems very likely. a heavily modded skyrim is very resource intensive more often then not requiring a powerful computer.
