Textures not loading (Randomly)

I'm having a little issue with textures. Some are loading up and then some aren't. Randomly. There are times when the Textures of a wall will be stuck in like an 8 bit look. I'm not sure if they are connected but i also get random crashes in Sanctuary after settlement building. But my main issue is the textures not loading. I don't know if it has to do with my load order or not but i've posted it. Has anybody else had to deal with this?

try this: Locate Fallout4Prefs.ini

in that file search for this: iTexMipMapSkip= (set this to 2)

 

so it will look like this iTexMipMapSkip=2

 

if it is already set to 2, then change it to -1

 

so it will look like this iTexMipMapSkip=-1

 

if both of them fail, download the fallout 4 enb files (google: enbseries - on left side click download - fallout 4 - v0.311 - download)

once you have it, go to the Wrapper Folder - Copy: d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46e, and enblocal.ini to your fallout 4 folder (where the launcher is)

 

now in the enblocal.ini file, search for this line: UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false (change false to true)

 

and then search for: ForceVideoMemorySize=false (change to true)

 

underneath that: VideoMemorySizeMb=4096 (should be good enough, if not, try doubling it)

 

if you already have these enb files, then leave UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics as false, but set ForceVideoMemorySize= to true

 

so all basically all settings will be like this

Note: UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true (this will disable all enb effects except the fixes)

 

Note: if iTexMipMapSkip= does not exist in your Fallout4Prefs.ini file, then add it under [Display] - (basically under the very top)
