termishaner
I recently updated my graphics card drivers only to find that Skyrim looked like this (the image below) after I restarted my computer. I'm relatively inexperienced with graphics card settings and customizations, so any specific details of correcting this would be much appreciated. My Grainy Skyrim Picture... fms1
Try to roll back your driver to the previous ver. and see if it still works right.
Rennn
I'll second that for reinforcement purposes. Roll back the driver.
Grasmann
I just saw another post with similar screenshots and was able to help.I guess the reason for this is that you have adaptive antialiasing enabled in your video driver.Just deactivate it and everything should be fine. I think rolling back drivers is a bad idea in most cases. I wouldn't do it.Even if the previous driver didn't have these problems with adaptive antialiasing. meiscrazy
I am using an ATI mobility radeon hd 5870 and updated my drivers in order to play battlefield and I now have this issue as well. I cant find a way to turn off adaptive anti aliasing from from the CCC and when I look at the drivers for an uninstall there is not a driver specific to it. ProjectVRD
This is not an Adaptive issue because I am getting it with the 12.2 drivers as well. I am using the Multi-Sample option so it looks as though AMD have broken Skyrim yet again. I think there are a few threads for this issue, perhaps a sticky thread may be in order? Zogzy
I just had this exact same problem running a Radeon HD 5770. All you have to do is go into skyrim options and turn anti-aliasing off (mine was at 8x). I hope that helps :)
meiscrazy
Zogzy that solved it for me thank you.
termishaner
I rolled back my driver. Call me crazy, but I would rather have anti-aliasing enabled.
