Minimii15
Hello. I recently bought NV for PC so i can start downloading mods. i am concerned though that I won't know exactly what to do in order to get them working. So if someone could give me the link to the best Mod Manager and instructions on how to install it and install the mods in general is would be very appreciated. I'm hoping to learn this within the next week since i ordered NV online and it should ship by then and id like to get jump started right into it. chucksteel
Since your new I would say go with NMM, you can use the download with manager button to automatically download and, install the mods. Remember, modding a game is not as simple as plug and, play. You'll need to read readmes, figure out load order and, many other issues. Start slow, don't install a ton of mods at one time, install a few, see how your game plays then add some more. chuck
Greslin
I'd also recommend grabbing a handful of tools to keep stashed away for later: FNVEdit:http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=34703 FNVEdit Training Manual:http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=38413 FOMM:http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901 FNV Plugin:http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=39655 And of course: GECK NV.. http://download.zenimax.com/fallout/nv/geck/GECK_NVE_v1.4.zip .. with GECK Poweruphttp://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=41642 Like Chuck said, running mods isn't like firing up a DLC - at the very least you'll often have various incompatibilities to sort out. Eventually you'll also find yourself customizing existing mods to your tastes, debugging choppy code and finally writing your own. The first four links above are the main tools for sorting out incompatibilities. GECK is for customization and/or mod creation.

Greslin
Google "how to install fallout mods". There are plenty of Youtube videos, tutorials, etc. Don't expect to get everything from a single source, but the Internet isn't lacking for good modding instruction.
