breck
Ok. Furst off your not stuped. We all have to learn someware and if you meen the tut's in the constructen set itself, your right. Thay don't help at all.secundly there is so mutch to say that I hardly know where to begine. But I'll try to get you started. The furst thing you need to do is lode up some data files. do this by clicking the files butten on the far left of the toolbar. Then check the files you want to lode (I sugjest you only lode the master files at furst) and click ok. it will take a littel time to lode them all. I dont want this to get to langthy so I'll just qwickly run you thrugh making a house. thet will give you the basics. now you need to open up a cell (place). on the cell view box there are two list's. The left one is all the cell's in the game, the right one is all the stuff thats in the selected cell. to make the inside of a home right click on the left list and select new. give your cell a name, like "OddGuy's hose of weird" or some sutch. dobel click on the name to open it up. Now click and drag stuff frome the object window to the Render window to add things to your house. Start with static objects becuse these are your walls and furniter and stuff. Play arownd with the objects entail you get them the way you want them. this takes practice. To make a door that leeds to the outside werld put a door in your hose and doble cik on it (or click on its name in the cell veiw window) to bring up its object data window thingy. check the box marked teleport. then brows list right below it to find the cell you want the door to send you to. then hit the butten (I think its called select). This will switch the render window to the cell you picked. The door marker (Big 3D arrow thing) should be in the midel of the screen. This thing is where the door puts you when you walk through it. Put it where you want to come out frome. Now you need to put a door to go in to the house frome. Do the same thing you did befor but elect your hous as the cell to teleport to. Now save your file. It will atomaticly save it as a pugin. When you want to edit your file agen be shure to set it as the active file frome the Data File's window thingy. This is the VERRY Basics. but it should get you started. check the net for moor complete tut's. I alsow have herd good stuff about the MMMB (marowwind mod mackers bible) but never read it myself. Have fun :D

OddGuy
actually, what i really want to know is if theres any way to make the render window brighter without actually adding lights, and if you can rotate the view around, zoom in, zoom out, etc.
King_Arthur1688
the mouse wheel will let u zoom in/out. (if u dont have 1, page up/down should work, cant remember). holding shift and moving the mouse around should let u rotate. for brighter screen look in the file/edit/etc. menus. also, try this tutorial for a house creation, or here for more help look on this site's main page for a links sectionthere should be some good sites to visit for help ~KA1688 P.S.In the Render Window: "A" Turns on/off All brightness for total lighting. "C" Zooms in to an isometric view of the selected object(s). "D" Dislodges you from the selected object(s) to allow for more freeform movement of the camera. "F" Drops (or makes the object(s) Fall) to the top level of the object below them. "L" Allows you to see/not see the Light radius of all lights in the view. "S" Allows you to change the size of the selected object from 0.5x to 2x "T" Zooms in to a Top view of the selected object(s). "V" Allows you to zoom in and out on the selected object with the mouse. "W" Turns on/off Wireframe mode. "X" Allows you to manipulate object(s) in the X axis. "Y" Allows you to manipulate object(s) in the Y axis. "Z" Allows you to manipulate object(s) in the Z axis. "F4" Shows collision detection of all objects in the Render Window. In the Preview Window: "A" Pans the view left. "D" Pans the view right. "S" Pans the view down. "W" Pans the view up. "Insert" Rotates the object on it's ? axis. "Home" Rotates the object on it's ? axis. "Page Up" Zooms in. "Page Down" Zooms out. "Down Arrow" Rotates the object on it's ? axis. "Left Arrow" Rotates the object on it's ? axis. "Right Arrow" Rotates the object on it's ? axis. "Up Arrow" Rotates the object on it's ? axis. Sydrik
If no mouse wheel, hold down V and drag the mouse about in TES Editor's Render Window. :)
Peregrine
Wow, I think we have a new record for worst thread necromancy ever... If a thread's been dead for over five months, don't post in it unless you have a very good reason!
